Join us for a pre-recorded 3-hour workshop and walk away with:
- A list of some of the most common mistakes writers make: Like thought verbs and RUE (resist the urge to explain). We'll cover some of the most common writing mistakes nearly everyone makes.
- The knowledge of EXACTLY what you need to look for in your first editing pass through. Just finished your first draft? This workshop will help you understand how to transition from writing to editing by helping you make a concrete list of things to look for.
- The beginnings of your own writer's style guide: A writer's style guide is your first steps in editing. It's the list of things that you know you have to look for and fix in your first draft. Not only will it help you with editing, but by recognizing those common writing mistakes you make (think always using the wrong there/their/they're, for example) you'll be more conscious of them moving forward. It'll make you a better writer!
